What is 10MailBox?
10MailBox means 10-minute mailbox: a fast, receive-only temporary email service for short-lived verification emails, OTP codes, and confirmation links. The name also points to the future 10-mailbox idea behind 10Box Mode, where multiple temporary inboxes can be managed when one address is not enough.
Is 10MailBox completely free to use?
Yes. The core 10MailBox temporary inbox workflow is free to use and does not require a permanent account.
How long does a temporary inbox last?
A standard 10MailBox inbox is designed around a 10-minute, 600-second lifecycle. Use the message, code, or link before the countdown ends.
Can I extend the time limit on my inbox?
Inbox extension is not part of the Phase 1 launch promise. Treat the inbox as temporary and complete the task inside the original 10-minute window.
Can I reopen an expired inbox?
No. An expired inbox should be treated as unavailable. Inbox Reopen is a future feature, not a Phase 1 recovery guarantee.
Can I receive OTP codes with this service?
Yes. 10MailBox can receive email OTP codes when the sender accepts temporary email domains and the code arrives before the inbox expires.
Can I receive account verification links?
Yes. 10MailBox can receive account verification links for low-risk signup and testing flows when the sender delivers the message successfully.
Can I send emails using 10MailBox?
No. 10MailBox is receive-only and does not provide outbound email sending.
Is it safe to use for important banking or personal accounts?
No. Do not use a temporary inbox for banking, healthcare, legal, payment, work, government, or permanent personal accounts that require future recovery.
What happens to my messages after the inbox expires?
Messages in a temporary inbox are not intended for long-term storage. After expiry, treat the inbox and its messages as unavailable.
Why hasn't my temporary email arrived yet?
A temporary email may not arrive because the address was mistyped, the sender is delayed, the website blocks disposable domains, duplicate requests were throttled, or the inbox expired.
Why did a website block or reject my temporary address?
Some websites block disposable email domains to enforce account quality rules or reduce abuse. If that happens, use a permanent email address for that service.
Can I create multiple temporary inboxes at once?
Multiple active inboxes are not part of the Phase 1 launch promise. 10Box Mode is planned as a later upgrade.
Is the 10MailBox service private?
10MailBox reduces exposure of your primary email address, but it is not a guarantee of anonymity. Do not send sensitive personal, financial, medical, legal, or work information to a temporary inbox.
What activities are strictly prohibited?
10MailBox prohibits fraud, spam, harassment, phishing, malware, impersonation, mass-account abuse, illegal activity, and attempts to bypass another service's rules.
